Valeria and James | New Forest Wedding - 15th September 2013

I meet Valeria earlier this year when I photographed her for a fine art photography shoot in an abandoned manor house, she was absolutely stunning and we got some amazing photos. I was so excited when she asked me to be her wedding photographer to her wonderful fiancee James.

On the day me and my wonderful assistant Stephi (who's the best) drove to the New Forest where we meet Valeria getting ready with her girls and even James!!! You see Valeria is not a normal bride shes not up for traditions and that's why I absolutely loved her wedding from start to end. It was so relaxed, her and James lovingly got ready together, she walked down the aisle to Jaws music and she even had a broccoli as a bouquet!!!

Her and James' reception was all inside as it was raining outside, but that didn't stop us from getting some gorgeous photos of them in the beautiful venue, we even ducked out quickly to get some outside as Valeria really didn't care if her hair got swept a little by the rain. It was their day and they were going to enjoy every minute.

There sit down meal was wonderful and intimate and we even sat with the guests for a 3 course meal, everyone was given Russian dolls as favours as Valeria was born in Russia, Valeria's mum and dad had gone to Russia and visited various Russian shops picking out the dolls to bring back.

In the evening A huge Vodka Luge, which the guests drank and drank in pure Russia style and then they went out to toast marshmallows on fires outside. By this time Valeria had almost gone up in flames waaaay to many times, with a big dress and many candles (including the very small aisle) I'm very glad her dress didn't catch fire.

It was amazing photographing their day, I hope I'll get to see her again very soon and maybe one day meet her gorgeous Bengal cats who were with the two of them on their wedding cake.
