Laura & Matt's | Edwardian Wedding in an Abandoned Chapel - 7th June 2014

I was excited from the day Laura told me she was getting married in an abandoned chapel, I jumped at the chance at photographing in such a cool venue. Myself and Laura had never meet, but she had previously seen some photos I had taken at the amazing Horniman museum, where she works and had donated me a while ago to say she loved the photos and that i should apply for a job there as they needed a photographer. Although I didn't do the job, we stayed Facebook friends and there was a feeling that me and her would get on, lovers of the Victorian era, taxidermy and weirdness. When she contacted me about her wedding it wasnt long before we meet up and can you believe at a day event in Manchester called 'Encountering Corpses'. I don't think many wedding photographers can make claim to such a strange wedding meeting.

Rachel & Andreas | Cute Village Hall Wedding - 30th November 2013

Ive known Andreas for around 20 years! Him and my brother have known each other since they went to school together and Andreas was often round my house terrorising me with my brother. I have strong memories of trying to smoke banana skins with them in the back garden and flying paper aeroplanes that we set on fire at the house. Those two were always up to mischief.

I was so happy when Howard (My little brother) told me Dre was getting married and that he had been chosen as best man and that as a present he wanted to buy them their wedding photography. I was very excited to be part of his and Rachel's day and was very looking forward to meeting the wonderful girl who had stolen his heart.

Lucy & Tim | Halloween Wedding - 31st October 2013

I have known Lucy for over 5 years, we worked together for a long time at a family portrait studio, I was a photographer and she did retouching and framing. Out of everyone there I got on the most with her, we just clicked with our love of the strange, horror and anything quirky and weird. I also roped Lucy into many model shoots as I had just started taking photos of models and so we did some shoots, messing round with makeup and crazy ideas. We even did a secret shoot in the studio we worked in late at night at the abandoned bank at the back.. imagine our shock when the cleaner decided to come in to do cleaning duties when we thought no one would be there, running up in our bras and knickers as we thought we were being robbed.

Sinead & Thom | Clapham Common Pub Wedding - 14th September 2013

Check out this gorgeous wedding of Sinead and Thom, I couldn't believe that when I went to meet them for the first time, that it was in The Windmill Pub at Clapham Common, as this is where I meet my husband over 7 years ago. It brought back so many happy memories and I was delighted that I would photograph their wedding reception in this pub as its so wonderfully vintage and cute.

Unfortunately it was raining on the day, but this didn't stop us from taking some amazing photos inside the pub, with such an amazing backdrop, we got some really creative shots. At the relaxed reception their guests ate burgers and chips (which were very yummy) and drank beer and their wedding cake was made of donut s!! They also had the most perfect sweet bar.

I had such a great time photographing their wedding of such a cute couple that after many years have finally tied the knot and will have many more happy years together.

Jocelyn and James got married in Hendon Town Hall, I had so much fun getting ready with Jocelyn and her two daughters who were her bridesmaids and fabulous Jay Pinxie Turnbull who did stunning makeup and hair for her friend. Listening to music and giggling, it wasn't long before Jos was all ready and walking down the aisle to get married to James.
