Stuart & Simon - Testimonial

With all the stress and craziness when it comes to a wedding, the one thing we weren't stressed about was our photographer (well once we'd found one but that's another story!).

We left our photography in the very capable hands of Rebecca, who's calm and collective approach left us feeling completely confident that our day would be captured perfectly. Rebecca worked her magic, made everyone feel relaxed, delicately taking photographs without intrusion.

Nicola & Simon | Plymouth Wedding - 20th October 2012

After Simon and Nicolas amazing zombie engagement shoot earlier in the year I couldn't wait to go to Plymouth to photograph their wonderful wedding and this time there was nothing to stop the day not sisters having babies or anything.

Lottie & Stan - Testimonial

Rebecca is everything you could want in a wedding photographer- She is very easy to get along with;
from the beginning she was enthusiastic about our wedding, wanting to know everything about it.

Stuart & Simon | Seaside Wedding - 1st September 2012

I absolutly LOVED photographing Stuart and Simon's wedding, I meet with them a few months before and we all share a love of tea and cats so we meet up in a bar in Angel and drank tea, talked about our cats Lestat and Ralphie cats and I realised just how lovely the two of them were. I was really looking forward to their day for a long time.

Getting Ready Shots

Do you have any suggestions for the getting ready shots?

Its best to get ready in a nice bright tidy room, if you would like me to take photos of the details such as accessories, shoes, flowers etc please have them laid so I can easily find them, also its great to have your dress and bridesmaid dresses hung up somewhere nice so I can photograph them.

Helen & Darren - Testimonial

We are fortunate to have a great photographer in the family, Helen's brother, Ian. However, we didn't want him to be behind a camera all day at our wedding. Then one day we received a phone call from him recommending Rebecca and offering to book her as our wedding gift. What an amazing gift!

Ruth & Sergio | Colourful Sunny Lisbon Wedding - 25th August 2012

I meet lovely Ruth and Sergio in May this year when I shoot their engagement shoot, do you remember the motor bikes? That was such an exciting shoot and I was really looking forward to their wedding day as they were flying me over to Lisbon in Portugal, for what was going to be a bright, colourful and sunny wedding day.

Lotti & Stan | Marie Antoinette Gothic Fairytale - 13th August 2012

It was over 5 years ago that I first meet Lotti, I had just started doing shoots with models in my new home studio and was working on a seven deadly sins series, she posed for me as Lust, I choose her because of her amazing anatomical heart she had tattooed on her chest.

Polly & Mikey - Testimonial

Mikey and I had such a wonderful day with you at the seaside. You put two very photo-awkward people totally at ease, and we will both love showing these pictures to the grandchildren one day!

Thank you so much for your time and enthusiasm and perfect representation of my dear boy's baboon faces!

Natalie & Oliver - Testimonial

Olly and I had a wonderful wedding at Chateau Conde and your pictures are a real delight.  What I love the most is that you captured people's expressions turning the pictures into a story.  It seems as though I blinked and our wedding day, the best day of my life, was over.

Helen & Darren | Photobooth - 23rd June 2012

Helen and Darrens photo booth was so much fun, I love it when there a queue for the booth :0)

Helen & Darren | Windsor Wedding - 23rd June 2012

Helen and Darrens wedding was one of the most laid back and fun weddings I have ever been to, I enjoyed every minute of it. Helen is my really good friend Ian's sister, I was delighted when he asked me to photograph her wedding. He's and amazing photographer himself, but wanted to enjoy the day and so being an absolutely wonderful brother got me as Helens photographer for a present.

Sandra & Duncan | Denbies Wine Estate Wedding - 16th June 2012

Sandra is a great friend that I meet while studying my BA Hons degree in Graphic Design, I graduated 6 years ago, but we have always kept in touch as Sandra is just so so lovely. I photographed the wedding of her brother 3 years ago and was delighted when she said she was getting married in July 2012 and that she wanted to take the photos.

Natalie & Oliver | Parisian Chateau De Conde Wedding - 4th June 2012

I had the amazing pleasure of travelling to the amazing Chateau des Conde in beautiful Vallery, near Paris to photograph the stunning wedding of Natalie and Oliver. I arrived at the Chateau and every one was so blissfully chilled and relaxed and I'm not surprised after all staying at there for a day, the Chateau literally took my breath away and I felt very lucky to be photographing in such an amazing venue.

Winner of Engagement Competition - Simon & Nicola Zombie Apocalypse

I have had a blast over the last couple of months shooting 10 amazing engagement shoots. I've had the pleasure of meeting 10 adorable couples, getting to know them and finding all about their amazing weddings.

Choosing a winner has been the hardest thing for me to do. It was so hard when every couple I meet were so deeply in love, so sweet, kind and lovely and all had such amazing ideas.

Heather & Gareth - Testimonial

Your images make us smile every time we look at them. What a wonderful record of a fabulous day, which we'll treasure forever.

We love your talent, passion and creativity...

Thank you Rebecca!

Heather & Gareth xx

Polly & Mikey | Pirate Engagement Shoot - 30th May 2012

I had an absolute ball on my shoot with Polly and Mikey, they came to pick me up late morning and we drove to stunning West Wittering, via a fantastic pub where we ate yummy pizza and drank apple cider.. yummy. We giggled for hours, these two are just so funny and cute and well and truly perfect for each other.

Ruth & Sergio | Motorbike Engagement Shoot - 26th May 2012

I must admit when Ruth first contacted me to say she wanted an engagement shoot on motor bikes around London and that I would be riding on the back of one to take pictures of her and fiance Sergio I was slightly terrified, but how could I not do it, I'd never been on a motorcycle before and with my biggest fear being getting my head stuck in the helmet, I was actually really excited and couldn't wait till the day. The two of them got engaged just before Christmas and busy planning their wedding in Portugal, with only a few months to go, Ruth asked if I would be her photographer.. Go to Portugal ad photograph a stunning couple.. who could say no.

Verity & Russell - Testimonial

To Rebecca

We just wanted to say thank you so much for picking us and making the shoot so relaxed and fun! We had the best time and haven't stopped raving about you.

We'll treasure our superhero pics forever

Thank you!

Verity + Russ

Halcyon & James | Bonnie & Clyde Engagement Shoot - 22nd May 2012

'James and I met in Brixton Prison. I am a psychologist and he is a prison officer. We are the last people who wish to glamorise crime but we thought it might be amusing to incorporate subtle references to our shared background into our wedding styling. Think less convict and more Bonnie and Clyde, Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty, a white-hot love story with two people completely wrapped up in each other. Steering clear of guns etc. focusing instead on the love story and the look, cigarette smoke, newsreel, black coffee. Love on the run.'

Nicola & Simon | Zombie Apocalypse Engagement Shoot - 21st May 2012

By Nicola Jude

ZOMBIE LOVE

It all started with a proposal……A diamond ring and a perfect meal……and then we noticed something wasn’t quite right. The ambling hordes on the tube journey seemed, well, MORE shuffling than usual.

Walking home down the quiet streets, past the familiar landmarks the world seemed a little too still and then we saw the first one….Slow, shuffling and heading straight for us.

Fiona & Sean | Kyoto Garden Engagement Shoot - 19th May 2012

Fiona is half Japanese and half English Sean is English with a hint of Irish. Fiona puts their love as a 'Union of two Island Nations', how adorable. The two of them were so cute they have been caught up in a huge whirlwind of love since the day they meet and their story is very sweet.

Helen-Lorraine & Simon - Testimonial

Lovely Rebecca,

We just want to thank you so much for the amazing photos, the kind words and the brilliant experience.

We don't really have internet access at the log cabin but Simon was able to download the photos last night from facebook after work. We must have spent at least 2 hours looking through them. They really are beautiful you've captured the day and theme perfectly.

Helen-Lorraine & Simon | Dreamy 70's Engagement Shoot - 14th May 2012

I loved meeting Helen and Simon on my trip to the Cotswolds for their 70's inspired dreamy engagement shoot. I cant even describe how cute these two are and so blissfully in love. From the moment Simon came and picked me up, to our chats on the way to his and Helen'd log cabin in the middle of the countryside I just knew the shoot was going to to be wonderful.

Why Budget for a Professional and Experienced Wedding Photographer

I often get a lot of brides wonder why professional wedding photographers charge so much and its often hard to explain why it is worth the money to invest in a professional wedding photographer.

Group Shots

Do you have advice for setting up group shots?

I know that family and group shots are important but I try to keep the shooting of these quite quick, guests have a short attention span at this time of a wedding and when al they want is to drink and have fun, group photos aren’t the most exiting thing for them.

A lot of the time, guests will try to escape, I will always start with a big group shot before everyone disappears, this will be followed by the brides family and then the grooms family and then friends.

Jenni & Andy | Mantara Centre Engagement Shoot - 13th May 2012

I made a wonderful trip to gorgeous Cotswolds to meet Jenni and Andy who are newly engaged, he proposed to her at 3 minutes to Christmas day. They are actually childhood sweethearts which is just adorable, they meet when they were just 15 and now are soon to be married.

Verity & Russ | Superhero Engagement Shoot in Derby - 5th May 2012

I visited Derby to meet the lovely Verity and Russ for their engagement shoot at the beautiful Sudbury Hall, where they will also be getting married next May.

Heather & Gareth | Train Station Love Story Engagement Shoot - 21st April 2012

gaHeather and Gareth's story on how they meet is absolutely adorable, this was the inspiring and lovely story Heather wrote to me on how they meet.

Moira and Hollee | Bristol Planetarium Engagement Shoot - 10th April 2012

On a sunny Monday in April I took a coach to Bristol to go and meet Hollee and Moira for their engagement shoot. I had been speaking to Holle for a few weeks about her shoot with fiance Jon, the plan was to shoot it at the Bristol Planetarium as they are both fans of Sci Fi, infact Hollee is a Science Fiction writer, how cool!!! I cant wait till her book comes out and will be sure to read it as it sounds dead cool!

Milly & Dan | Pretty Spring Wedding - 31st March 2012

Milly and Dans wedding was just so perfect, a beautiful spring day in March with blossoms on the trees and not one spot of rain. I arrived at Jury's inn to find Milly and her bridesmaids all excitedly getting ready for the big day, she looked stunning finally all made up, with her beautiful dress on.

How To Book

Can we meet you before we book?

Yes, it would be great to meet before we book, its nice to get to know each other and you can make sure I'm not a three headed monster.

Retouching Process

How long after the wedding will we receive our photos?

I deliver the full set of high resolution photos within 2 month, but Iwill try to put a preview on my blog and on face book after a couple of weeks.

Courtney & Charles | Carnaby Street | Creative Shoot

Courtney and Charles have been married 5 months now, wow time flys, it only seems like yesterday I was shooting there amazing wedding in Soho. We arranged to have a shoot just after the wedding when they returned from their honeymoon, but it was in America and Courtney returned having eaten a few too many burritos and couldn't quite fit into her dress, which cracked me up, so it was gym time for Courtney, so we re arranged the shoot for December and Courtney turned up looking beautiful in her gorgeous vintage dress.

We had a great time shooting around Soho, Carnaby street and as the two of them both DJ, we visited their favourite record shop, Black Market Records.

Dean Family - Testimonial

Dean Family | Autumn Family Shoot - 26th November 2011

What a fun shoot with the Dean family, I meet with them in the park and we went to feed the ducks, followed by a leaf fight, there was a lot of rolling around in the mud, Chloe was too cute for words and Lewis had the funniest personality, I loved them both, they cracked me up so much.

One particular moment Lewis will probably regret when his mum and dad bring these photos to his future girlfriends, which had me in hysterics.

Testimonial - Rhia & Glen

'I have followed Rebecca’s work after meeting her at my best friends wedding. I am simply blown away by her talent and the beautiful moments she captures. I knew as soon as I began to plan my engagement party I had to ask her do a photo booth and with no surprise we are absolutely delighted with the results.

The photos are magical and capture every inch of fun experienced by all on the night. We are so incredibly grateful to have these photos that we will cherish forever. Aside from the photos, the photo booth was such great fun for all our guests and is still being talked about weeks after. Thank you so much Rebecca xx'

Fiona & Paul | Testimonial

Dear Rebecca,

'Thank you so much for the wonderful photos of our wedding. We had such positive feedback from family and friends who are enjoying them so much and many who liked photos of themselves that they hadn't even realised you had taken.

You certainly were very unobtrusive on the day and yet managed to capture the spirit of the celebration perfectly. The disc was beautifully presented too, so thanks again for wonderful photos of our perfect day.'

I meet Rhia and Glen and the wedding of Charmayne and Tony, they recently got engaged and the lovely Rhia contacted me to ask if I could do a photo booth at her engagement party. I LOVE doing photo booths they are so much fun so I excitedly said yes.

The party was so much fun, Rhia and Glens friends were all dressed seriously to impress the girls all looked stunning all with glossy hair and beautiful dresses and the boys all looked dressed to the nine's. Not only that they were all so up for the photo booth and I had a load of fun photographing them all. Rhia gave me some new props for the photo booth which all looked fab.

Testimonial - Vix Vain

'Hello Lovely thank you for the wonderful images and for sharing your talent with me on such a fun day! I have quite a fondness for bee's now.'

Vix was so sweet, as a thank you she sent me the cutest little customised necklace with the words
'Shottle Bop Litchfield's Liquid Light, For Decisive Moment Focus' Also the sweetest pocket watch with lavender perfume inside as a memory of our fun time in the lavender field

Testimonial - Harriet & Sean

'We met Rebecca at our friends wedding last summer and thought then how fantastic she was at blending into the background whilst snapping away and the way she was so relaxed and great with the kids. When I saw the photos from that wedding I fell in love: they were slightly quirky, unique but warm and full of love capturing every moment perfectly.

So there we were straight on the phone to Becky enquiring as to whether she was free and instantly booking her up. Becky is an amazing photographer, she was brilliant at liaising with us and made me feel 100% confident that my photos would be gorgeous and they absolutely were! Thank you so much!'
