Natalie & Oliver | Parisian Chateau De Conde Wedding - 4th June 2012

I had the amazing pleasure of travelling to the amazing Chateau des Conde in beautiful Vallery, near Paris to photograph the stunning wedding of Natalie and Oliver. I arrived at the Chateau and every one was so blissfully chilled and relaxed and I'm not surprised after all staying at there for a day, the Chateau literally took my breath away and I felt very lucky to be photographing in such an amazing venue.

To top it off, Natalie and Oliver and the bridal party were completely adorable and so thoughtful, kind and sweet. It was great fun taking photos of them getting ready to go to the church. Before long Natalie was walking down the aisle with her mum. the church was break taking beautiful and filled with light, Natalie and her mum glowed as she walked down the aisle and the moment Oliver saw her was magical, the biggest smile I've ever seen from a groom, two photos I captured are just so beautiful, the two of the completely overwhelmed by emotion I love them.

Unfortunately Natalies father is no longer with us, which was sad beyond words when I heard he hadn't meet oliver, but Natalie's mum did an amazing job giving her away. Also during the ceremony, just one of the candles went out and smoked for a very long time (have a look at the black and white photos when the two of them have been announced as husband and wife) I think Natalie's dad was there the whole time and that was his sign that he loved her and was there for her.

The two of them had a sword salute as they walked out of the church from fellow marines, Oliver has served as a Marine for many years and all his buddies were also dressed in military uniforms they all looked so smart! Natalie and Oliver walked to the Chateau with their guests following, greeted at the gate by a fabulous man in armour, before long they were sipping champagne on the lawn and the group shots were all so much fun.

I stayed photographing till 1am as their party was so much fun I couldn't drag myself away, it was also great to spend time with lovely Rachel from www.rachelles.co.uk who made Natalie's cake and mine 3 years ago, I also photographed the cakes for her site if you can remeber. Its lovely that she has become such a great friend now, I have great admiration for her and her talent for making cakes and she is such a lovely person.

I had a great time getting to know some of Natalie and Oliver's guests and the two of them, it was truly and amazing wedding and I feel very lucky to have been chosen as their photographer.

Dear Rebecca

Olly and I had a wonderful wedding at Chateau Conde and your pictures are a real delight. What I love the most is that you captured people's expressions turning the pictures into a story. It seems as though I blinked and our wedding day, the best day of my life, was over. Thanks to your pictures, we can relive the moments again and again. You've managed to captured every tiny detail of the day. I hadn't noticed one of the candles in the Church went out and what a lovely touch to think that my Dad was looking down on us all.
Thank you so much for coming all the way to Chateau Conde. It is a very special place which Olly and I wanted to share with all of our guests and with you. Not only did you take phenomenal pictures, but you were great fun to be around and really got into the spirit of our celebrations. You made it all very easy and hassle free.
Not only have we found an exceptional photographer, but also a friend in you.
Lots of love Natalie and Olly x x
